Wednesday's Reflection

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same.

I love this quote because God has blessed me with a few very good friends, those who are supportive and never judge me. They know who I am and what my core values stand for. Lately, I have been through some difficult times and have confided in some 'friends.' The true ones grace me with their beautiful strength and wisdom. They know that the choices I make are in the best interest of my family. A special thanks to C, K & S for being amazing, wonderful friends. You light up my life!

I don't check in often enough. May you have a wonderful Season. It is a season of renewal and happiness.

My mom is never far from my thoughts. This will be the 13th Christmas with out her. The pain never does go away, it may dull at times, but it is still there.

Good friends are wonderful!

Also, yes, the ornament is from this year's Hallmark collection, 'Joy to the World'

I realized a long time ago that 'friends' who aren't supportive aren't truly friends after all.

Hay,

I just found your blog again and was pouring though your old posts and realized you were on A COntinual Happiness with me. I saw your pic a while back and thought you looked familiar but just passed it off because of the name. Then, I realized today that you are you!! WOW!! I have so enjoyed reading your blog today. I am marking it as a favorite so I can come back. I am so glad LS is doing so well. I know it was tough at times and Im sure it still can be. I love the idea of sign and I have heard from so many that sign opens so many doors for their children. I am so happy to have refound you!!

I have not checked in often enough, either, but here I am.

Though we are firmly entrenched in an early winter mess this year, today there was a considerable warming in my area. The snow is melting and it reached 50 degrees. I knew this was coming because you warmed my heart days before this thaw just by answering my latest "Hi" email and letting me know how well LJ has been doing, and by remebering to sending Sara a birthday card and of course by directing me back here.

Here's to good friends.

I don't check in often enough either. But I know this: it's finally warming up in my area, thank goodness, at least this weekend. This weather thaw was directly proceeded by getting heart-warming response from you, to my email, that LJ is doing so much better. Crossing my fingers big time for more. And also that email directing me right to this blog, where you speak so simply yet truthfully about friends who are real friends. May the warmth of friends and family warm your holidays and light your way every day.

The kids look great in all your posts, too! They are so lucky to have such a devoted mom.

By the way we got the birthday card for Sara...can't believe she is FOUR!
